Presets: How To Seamlessly Transfer Model Configurations Across Apps

Presets are a powerful new way to easily transfer your model configurations between apps. Now you can set up your favorite settings once and reuse them anywhere, saving you time and effort.

Step 1: Create a Preset

Visit https://openrouter.ai/settings/presets and click Add Preset.

Step 2: Configure your settings

You can customize:

• default model
• system prompt
• provider preferences
• default sampling parameters (like temperature), and more

Step 3: Test the preset

Click Test in Chat and confirm it works the way you want.

Step 4: Use it in your apps

Set the preset as your model in any app that supports bring your own model.
You can also select the underlying model with the new preset field or model@preset.
